Communication with teachers Parent Opinion Survey Comparison with other schools
This is an area we have worked very hard to improve. Below is the comparison to other schools in Victoria and our Parents have indicated 88% are positive compared to much lower scores in other schools across Victoria, but also 20% above similar schools.

Learning Update
Reports – End of Semester 2
Based on feedback from parents in 2024 we made some adjustments to the reports. Given the positive response we have retained those changes for the end of year reports. They will become live on Compass on Monday 15th December, which gives parents time to read them and also allows time should parents want to contact the 2025 class teacher to ask any questions or discuss before the school year ends.
2025 Semester Two Report Sections:
- Victorian Curriculum Progression Points
- Work Habits (Effort and Behaviour)
- Student Achievement section (Teacher comment)
- Student self-reflection
- Specialist Subject descriptor (including progression point and skills and knowledge)

2026 School Captains and House Captains
The Year 5s have put in their expression of interest for the 2025 School Captains and House Captains. These closed last week. School leadership and Year 5/6 teachers as well as 2025 School Captains are all contributing to the short listing and interviewing. Good luck to all those that have applied. The students were required to complete a questionnaire, and also submit their CV for the panel members to read. The students short listed for school captain will also do a speech and have an interview. The idea is that they have an opportunity to experience what it is like when you apply for jobs.
